Discover the Hidden Power in Benda Bikes

Discover the Hidden Power in Benda Bikes

When it comes to motorcycle powertrain design, Benda is busy breaking barriers and pushing innovation to the limit. The roaring four-cylinder engines at the heart of select Benda models are concealed by industry-leading aesthetics and bold bodywork. Discover the details behind the hidden power in Benda motorcycles below.

Unleash the power

V4 and four-cylinder motorcycle engines are renowned for their high performance and balanced riding characteristics. The combination of mid-weight, powerful, and sufficiently loud specs is a hard formula to beat so it’s easy to see why top motorcycle manufacturers have developed four-cylinder models.

Inline-four BD467MU engine

But Benda takes it one step further, upping the ante with new models with its roaring inline four-cylinder engines. The recently developed 16-valve, water-cooled BD467MU engine powers Benda’s most exciting motorcycles yet: the LFC 700 and LFS 700.

These sibling models share the same thunderous inline-four engine but are built for distinct riding styles. The “LF” name refers to the line-four engine while the “700” marks the engine displacement— the “C” denotes cruiser and “S” stands for sport bike.

Both motorcycles are hailed as pioneers in their respective disciplines because of this innovative powertrain setup. The muscular LFC 700 is the first inline-four cruiser in the world and the LFS 700 is the first inline-four sport cruiser developed in China. Benda is excited to have overcome the engineering challenges of creating such high-performance engines for the consumer market, delivering truly unique motorcycles.

LFC 700’s secret weapon

One of the most notable design features of the LFC 700 is its ram-air intake. This turbine-inspired system uses dynamic air pressure created by the motorcycle’s movement to increase the static air pressure inside the intake, increasing both airflow through the engine and overall engine power. The innovative intake feeds the 676cc inline-four engine with a maximum horsepower of 92 HP and a top speed of 160 km/h. The LFC 700 has such a distinct and futuristic design that motorists continue to think it’s a concept model— the future of Benda motorcycles has already arrived.

V4 BD4V53MR engine

Benda’s powerful V4 BD4V53MR engine sits at the center of the Dark Flag 500 model. The first V4 platform tech-cruiser from China, the Dark Flag 500 delivers perfectly tuned V4 performance in a compact package. The 496cc engine provides 56 HP and a maximum torque of 42 Nm at 7,300 rpm. The premium V4 powers the Dark Flag 500 to new heights as it continues to capture the hearts of motorists looking for a new type of cruiser.

Peeking beneath the surface of Benda’s latest high-powered cruisers reveals the roaring performance of four-cylinder engines. From V4 motors to inline-four powertrains, Benda has unleashed power and performance for all.
